I went to my very first author expo today, at Koorong Books, West Ryde. I'm thrilled that Koorong is making an effort to promote Sydney picture book authors and illustrators.

| I also got to meet Jemima Trappel, the illustrator of DynaMites Music, for the first time. The day was lots of fun, with face painting, sausage sizzle, lollies and helium balloons, but the highlight for everyone was meeting Bob and Larry. (Actually, a few kids were terrified) Larry looks impressed with my book, doesn't he? Maybe he even learnt something about how God made fruit. |  |
