Matt and Beck Stanton's books are hilarious. But I had no idea they are local--what a surprise. It was great to meet them.

Harry Hartog is a wonderful bookshop. They have a huge range, inspiring displays and there's one in walking distance from my house. I should walk more often.

When I met staff member Mel, she immediately asked me to sign copies of my book and introduced me to the manager, Abby. Abby was excited to meet me too and booked me to come in for a story time. I was so surprised that they were so keen to support a little local author like me.

Today I've been in for Love Your Bookshop Day.

And they have a BIG book. I couldn't resist.
